LAKE BIGEAUX LOOP

Lake Bigeaux along with several bays and bayous makes up the southeastern portion of the Henderson Swamp. Surrounded by dense forests, these waterways take the paddlers away from the activity of the open lake.

The Lake Bigeaux trail begins at McGee's Swamp Tours, and then heads south for an 9.5 mile loop. The trail moves through several narrow lakes and bays that are connected by small bayous.
